As a self employed graphic designer (of the older magic marker type) and working mainly in advertising for the last thirty years, I reckon I know what it takes to make the grade in a creative and often very competitive market.  For the last fifteen years Mark has produced all of my artwork in digital form.
He is very attentive to detail and I can be a really fussy and demanding sod when it comes to type, colour, spacing, composition and all those other little things that matter hugely in the final printed product.
Mark both interprets and more often than not enhances my layouts. He is not phased when I want to change some part of the job and is always calm when under pressure. He is a very good designer in his own right and no slouch when it comes to digital illustration which he loves with a passion.  Mark is an absolute delight to work with and whoever chooses to put him on their payroll will have made a bloody good choice.

I have worked with Mark on English Heritage publications since 1995. He has consistently given us excellent service in book cover design, page layout design, and illustration layout and manipulation. Mark is professional in his approach and has design experience ranging from exhibitions, to CD and event advertisement design, to book layout. He is also an extremely easy person to work with. He always puts in the time and effort necessary to achieve the results and publications we want. Typically, I have several English Heritage projects on the go with him at any given time.

Dr David M Jones, Project Managing Editor, English Heritage Publishing

We have used Mark for many years and have been very pleased with the work produced. Our clients are from many different industry sectors and Mark has always been able to interpret the brief and create a design sympathetic with the market the client operates in. Many jobs have been against quite tight deadlines and he has always met every challenge on time. In short I can thoroughly recommend Mark who is easy to work with, will not let you down and has the experience and talent to produce superb design.

John Rickard, MD, JPR Exhibitions and Displays

Mark took over Tribal Earth in 2007 and proved to be a proactive and inspirational leader, happy to get his hands dirty when necessary and very good at motivating the organizing team to deliver what were a number of highly successful festivals in a tough economic UK environment. Mark is very much a team player, his personality creating an enjoyable atmosphere to work in. However he also has that important ability to be able to command respect and it was this combination that made him such an effective chairman and leader of Tribal Earth.
